Grade 8 English: Choice Book Mini-Project

Make sure to cite your sources using MLA format! We suggest using either of the following to make your citations:

• NoodleTools
  • Sign in with Google
  • Will help you organize your sources, take notes, and create citations in the correct format 
• MyBib
  • A free and simple citation maker that helps you quickly create a works cited.
  • Enter a website link or article name, and it formats the citation for you! 
  • Great for quick projects when you only need a few sources.

Databases 

Databases give you preformatted citations. You can get a preformatted citations by choosing the "Cite" button at the top. From there you can copy the citation into a slide or save it to a Noodletools project. 

Websites

You can build citations for websites in Noodletools. Choose "Website," then "Webpage" and fill in the blanks. You don't need to fill in all of the blanks. If there is no date of publication, don't put one in. If there is no author, don't put one in. The most important fields to fill are marked with red asterisks ( * ).
